Strawberry Buttermilk Pancakes


Nice summer breakfast!

Strawberry Buttermilk Pancakes

Serves 2


1 cup flour

1 Tbsp. sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. baking soda

¼ tsp. salt

½ tsp. cinnamon

1 ¼ cup buttermilk

1 egg, beaten

1 Tbsp. butter, melted

½ cup fresh strawberries, sliced


Maple Syrup

Powdered Sugar



Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Add buttermilk, eggs, and butter. Stir gently to combine. Gently fold in strawberries. In a large skillet over medium heat add a little butter. Pour enough batter to make a 5-inch circle. Cook pancake until the tops begin to bubble. Then flip them over to finish cooking. Serve with butter, maple syrup, and powdered sugar.
