Shrimp and Noodles


Easy meal for the weeknight!

Shrimp and Noodles

Serves 2


4 oz. Wu-Mu dry noodles

1 Tbsp. sesame oil

1 Tbsp. grapeseed oil

½ onion, chopped

2 garlic cloves, chopped

1 cup sliced shiitake mushrooms

½ tsp. Chinese five-spice powder

½ tsp. sugar

¼ tsp. Chinese hot sauce

½ lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined

Chopped chives



Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add noodles and cook for 3 minutes, drain and mix with sesame oil, set aside. Heat large skillet over medium high heat, add grapeseed oil. Add onions, cook for 1 minute. Add garlic and stir. Add shiitake mushrooms, five-spice, sugar and hot sauce and cook for 1 more minute. Add shrimp and cook until pink. Add noodles and mix everything together until noodles are hot again. Garnish with chives.
