Sliders + Coleslaw

These sliders work great as an appetizer or entree. And nothing like some classic American coleslaw to go on the side.

Sliders

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef

½ onion, sliced

1 Tbsp. butter

4 oz. cheddar cheese, sliced

Slider buns, toasted

Tomato, sliced

Pickle slices

Mayonnaise

Ketchup

Directions:

Make patties from ground beef, lay aside. Heat butter over medium low heat, add onions. Cook until caramelized, about 20 minutes. Heat grill over medium-high heat. Put salt and pepper on patties and place on grill. Cook first side for 2-3 minutes. Flip patties and add cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes. Place on bun and top with onions, tomato, pickle, mayo and ketchup.

Coleslaw

Ingredients:

½ head cabbage, shredded

1 carrot, shredded

2 Tbsp. minced onion

2 Tbsp. mayonnaise

1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar

1 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. celery seeds

Directions:

Mix together all ingredients and season with salt and pepper. Let coleslaw sit for 15 minutes for best flavor.
