This is one of my favorite ways to serve brussels sprouts. This recipe is really similar to one I posted before (here). I served my brussels sprouts with grilled sausage and smashed potatoes.
Beer Braised Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
3 slices bacon, diced
½ onion, diced
Stalk of Brussels sprouts, Brussels sprouts cut in half
1 Tbsp. mustard
1 cup beer
Cook bacon till crispy. Remove bacon. Cook onions in bacon fat over medium heat for 5 minutes. Add Brussels sprouts and mustard, stir well and season with salt and pepper. Add beer and cover for 20 minutes or until Brussels sprouts are tender.
