Panko Crusted Fish Sticks + Sesame Green Beans + Wasabi Mayonnaise + Siracha Ketchup



I used halibut to make my fish sticks and  I think the panko breading is the way to go. It makes the crust around the fish extra crispy. I love sauces with fried stuff, so I made two this time. Normally I don’t really care if my food is organic or not, but I have to say for some weird reason organic ketchup tastes way better.


Panko Crusted Fish Sticks


1 ½ cups flour

2 eggs

1 ½ cups panko breadcrumbs

2 fish fillets, cut in strips


Heat oil in deep fryer to 350 degrees. Put flour, egg and breadcrumbs in separate bowls. Season flour with salt and pepper and whisk eggs. Put each piece of fish in flour, then eggs, and then breadcrumbs. Place in deep fryer for 3-4 minutes until golden.


Sesame Green Beans


Handful of green beans

2 Tbsp. sesame oil

2 tsp. sesame seeds


Trim ends of green beans. Boil water, add salt. Add green beans and boil for 5 minutes. Take green beans out of water and drain. Heat oil over medium heat and add green beans. Saute for 3 minutes till heated through and mix till coated with oil. Serve with sesame seeds on top.


Wasabi Mayonnaise


¼ cup mayonnaise

1 Tbs. wasabi


Mix ingredients. Let sit for 20 minutes in fridge.


Siracha Ketchup


¼ cup ketchup

1 Tbs. siracha


Mix ingredients.
