Portobello Mushroom Burger with Goat Cheese + Carrot Fries



This is a great meatless meal that tastes delicious. Its easy to make and can quickly be prepared.


Portobello Mushroom Burgers with Goat Cheese

Serves 2

25 minutes


1/2 onion, sliced

2 portobello mushrooms


Goat cheese

Olive oil




Heat a skillet with medium with olive oil and butter add onions and caramelize for about 20 minutes.Heat pan on medium high heat or grill. Cover mushrooms with olive oil salt and pepper. Heat mushrooms in pan 4 minutes each side. Toast buns. Spread goat cheese on onion rolls. Add mushroom, onions, and spinach.


Carrot Fries


5 carrots, cut in fries



Heat oil at 360 degrees. Deep fry carrots until just begin to get crispy about 6 minutes or longer. Place on paper towels and season with salt.
