Beef Stir Fry


My boyfriend wanted me to make more asian food so I took a crack at it! This is just a stir fry with beef, bok choy and mushrooms served with some white rice.

Beef Stir Fry


1 Tbsp. sesame oil

1 Tbsp. grated ginger

½ onion, sliced

4 baby bok choy, cut in half

1 cup sliced shitake mushrooms

1 clove of garlic minced

3 Tbs. soy sauce

2 tsp. Siracha

1 Tbsp. oyster sauce

1 lb. flank steak, cut in thin strips

Bean sprouts


Heat sesame oil on stove in frying pan or wok on medium-high heat. Add ginger and onions and cook till onions are translucent. Add bok choy and mushrooms, soy sauce, siracha and oyster sauce. Cook till bok choy is tender. Add garlic cook for 1 minute. Take veggies and sauce out of pan. Add more sesame oil if necessary. Add steak and cook till almost done about 5 minutes. Add veggies and sauce back in and toss till steak is covered. Mix  bean sprouts in and serve.
