Cottage Pie



This is a great one pot meal. You have everything you need, veggies, potatoes and meat.


Cottage Pie

Serves 4

1 hour


1 lb potatoes, peeled and cubed

½ cup cream

1 Tbsp. olive oil

1 lb ground beef

1 carrot, chopped

1 onion, chopped

2 celery stalks, chopped

4 mushrooms, sliced

2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce

½ cup peas



Boil potatoes until cooked through a little over 15 minutes. Drain potatoes, mash and add cream with salt and pepper. Heat carrot, onion, celery and mushroom. After a few minutes add beef. When beef is cooked add peas and Worcestershire sauce. Place in oven dish, with potatoes over it with a sprinkle of paprika and broil in oven until potatoes have browned.
